Integrating with Whale

It's easy to eliminate the administrative burden of managing security deposits with Whale. Below is an outline of the steps involved to launch Whale. If you're ready to get started, fill out this form or email launch@getwhale.co.

Setup tasks

  1. Sign our Terms & Conditions: Our Terms & Conditions cover several important aspects of the Landlord, Tenant, and Whale relationship and it's what allows us to operate.

  2. Grant Whale API access to your PMS: This allows Whale to pull your property portfolio info and identify new move-ins and move-outs to process.

  3. Set deposit amounts: For each unit, let us know how much to collect for a standard vs. conditional deposit.

  4. Share bank information: Let us know where you'd like Whale to send move-out charges deducted from the resident's deposit when they move-out.

  5. Add Whale to lease application: Let your new residents know about Whale so they aren't surprised when they receive their invitation to fund their deposit through Whale.
